British Indian Rock Artist, Maya Lakhani (My-ah La-khan-ee), released her highly anticipated self-produced 4th single “Torn In Two” on Friday 13th January 2023 9AM, a fierce & energetic alt rock track. It has already received airplay & support from BBC Radio 1 with Alyx Holcombe & BBC Introducing with Melita Dennett, ahead of its' official release. It is currently on Spotify's Fresh Finds Rock editorial playlist. Just like her previous singles; Maya wrote, recorded & produced this track entirely from her bedroom, performing all guitars & vocals. Maya learnt to do this out of necessity in lockdown, but has fallen in love with producing her tracks in this way. The song was mixed by Grammy winning engineer Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters). “Torn In Two” is a song about feeling continually conflicted about a person, and battling between forgiving or just forgetting entirely.
